Wicklow Parish Fete – Saturday 4th June 2011

12.30pm - 4pm

Wicklow Parish Fete will take place on Saturday 4th June in the grounds of East Glendalough School (beside the Railway Station) in Wicklow Town.

This Annual Parish Fete is the main fundraiser of the year and has been running for more than twenty five years! It is a firm fixture on the Community Calendar of Events and once again promises to be a Fun Day Out for all the family & community. 

This year, in addition to the Bouncy Castle and Carnival Games, there will be the innaugural Wellie Throwing Competition – it is believed practice by Dads and Kids has already started! 

There will be a Fire Truck and some Classic Cars on display, a Pet Corner, a Kiddies Play Area, a kids Nail Bar & Tattoos along with The Magic Man Show.

The Annual Parish Raffle takes place on the day (tickets can be bought then or from Anne Harris beforehand) with many top prizes, like a David Swail painting, weekends away, golf club green fees, vouchers and Gas BBQ.

Big Bold Sizzling Burgers, Hot Dogs Teas & Cakes and some HB Ice Cream will be available on the day. 

For those Plant Enthusiasts there is a “Planting Service” where you can bring your Hangning Basket or Plant Pot along to the Plant Stall to be filled with plants from the stall!

Other stalls include, Country Produce, Good as New, Gifted Again and Books & CD Stall.

Adults €2 at gate – children FREE
