Peter Curling, Ireland’s best known Equine artist, will launch four new limited edition prints at an exhibition of his prints at The Atrium in Naas on 1 November.

The launch will mark the official opening of Murray Imaging Studios Gallery and the exhibition will run from 2-7 November.

The Atrium, Naas is an exciting contemporary building which offers the perfect location for exhibitions.

Peter Curling has exhibited in Ireland, the UK and the U.S. and his originals hang in some of the most important private collections in Ireland. Throughout his painting career Peter has produced limited edition prints. The first, ‘INTO THE STRAIGHT’ was published with the Tryon Gallery in London when he was seventeen. Peter’s limited edition prints have always been very popular and collectors wait eagerly for new editions to be published.

For the last few years Peter has worked exclusively with Tony Murray of Murray Imaging Studios, Naas, one of Ireland’s leading Fine Art Printers. The process of producing high quality prints has changed dramatically over the last few years with the advent of Archival Pigment Printing.
Tony works closely with all his artists and, using of state-of-the-art copying and printing techniques, he produces fine art archival pigment prints with the best colour accuracy and print longevity available today.

All prints are made using light fast pigment inks on archival museum quality papers manufactured by Hahnemühle, Germany.

The latest prints show a variety of subject matter and versatility in technique. Print editions have been kept to very low numbers, ensuring rarity and the prospect that they will quickly sell out. The exhibition will also provide an opportunity to see a range of earlier and rarer Curling prints going back over a number of years and is a chance for collectors to acquire some of these much sought after prints.

This is a new departure for Peter Curling and the first exhibition to take place at the Atrium.
