I got the keys of the Craft Rooms yesterday at 4.30pm. We had a meeting in them at 7pm and I have asked for all interested in teaching to let me know very soon as there has been a huge interest.
I will personally let you know when the teachers have booked their places.

Thanks for your interest.

Regards Karen

I am looking for an art (drawing and painting) class near Dublin City centre. I would have drawn and painted on and off over the years, but haven’t done so now for a long time. Can you help me, please?

The medium is your choice - but for beginners I would suggest Acrylics - as they are water based and dry very quickly which makes it easy to transport back and forth. Usually in a 6 week course each student completes at least 4 pieces. I also teach you to frame your pieces and can source some standard frames. Also during the class you will get to use different knives and brushes - just to see what you like to use. I provide canvas and paints for sale at cost price - and will help you source some more materials if you need to. The class is limited in numbers and is an easy going, social few hours - we all have artists in us but just need a little encouragement to bring it out!

At the end of each class we have an art exhibition at the tennis club. Naturally we have some wine to add to the art.
