Hand sewing is enjoying a resurgence. Perfect for sewing projects such as little girls’ dresses and even full sized adult garments. It is also one of the most peaceful and relaxing hobbies around.

Fine hand sewing is a characteristic of haute couture and high class tailoring, you will not find a sewing machine in a couture atelier!

In this class you will learn hand sewing essentials such as choosing needles and thread, temporary and permanent stitches, seams, hemming and embellishment such as applique.

You will build up a sampler of techniques and also work on various projects such as a project bag, sewing kit. Then channel your inner Chanel and sew a garment for yourself with your newfound skills!
