Gemstone, Crystal, Sea Glass, Beach Glass, Pottery drilling

We offer a very special drilling service for stones of all kinds up to a drilling depth of 35 mm (1.38”). But even a piece of pottery or sea glass (beach glass), which has grown fond of you, can be drilled as well. The drilled stones can then be used to make beautiful jewelery as e.g. Pendants, Bracelets, Necklaces or for other works of art. For stones that you want to wear as a pendant, we offer for a small fee to provide the drilled pieces with a matching silver- or goldplated eyelet.

On Request we drill through the stone, so that you can wear the crystal on a leather string, a snake chain or silk ribbon e.g.

Also spheres up to a diameter of 35 mm (1.38”) can be drilled precisely through the middle. For this pupose we have a high-precision device which centres the sphere perfectly under the drill.

We provide drilling in the following diameters of:

• 1.2 mm (0.05”) e.g. for blind holes to attach an eyelet
• 1.5 mm (0.06”) e.g. for small stones or beads to produce your own bracelets or chains etc.
• 2.5 mm (0.10”) e.g. for leather or silk ribbons
• 3.0 mm (0.12”) e.g. for larger snake chains or other chains
• other diameters of 0.5 mm to 8.0 mm (0.02” to 0.32”) are available on request

Altough we will exercise the drilling with the utmost caution and care, the stone can shatter or splinter in rare cases due to internal stresses and / or cracks.
We can not take any responsibility and therefore guarantee for the supplied goods. Should we think that drilling seems to be too dangerous and risky, we reserve the right not to process a stone.
