Ireland s newest online, dare we say sexy , gallery…

ArtsandCraftsofIreland.com is Ireland s newest online Gallery specializing in unique Irish Art and Craft. It is the online wing of TANK Gallery which is situated at Priory Cottages, Benburb, County Tyrone, Ireland. TANK Gallery was established in October 2002 by myself, Stephen Farnan, so that I could show off my fab pots; since then it s taken on a life of its own!

Along with my business partner, Daithi Conlon from WebsiteNI.com (interweb genius!), we re building a fantastic venue for people to look at, sell, buy and discuss contemporary Irish craft online. By offering a strong online sales facility Arts and Crafts of Ireland are taking the strain of dealing with the web and sales away from practitioners, allowing them the time to carry on creating their work; as a fellow, manically busy, practitioner I can vouch that this is welcomed relief!

It s a pretty new venture but already the site is getting well populated; Alan Ardiff, Alison FitzGerald and myself are three of our more established makers. There are also some of the new guns fresh out of Art College such as David Withers and Derek Wilson, two definite stars of the future. And complimenting our Irish made arts and crafts we have a collective of international makers; each of these makers have what we call a tenderlink connection with Ireland, either through teaching or studying or even in the case of Margo Selby through acting!

At Arts and Crafts of Ireland are number one commitment is to provide great service, to both maker and customer, in presenting a modern, relevant online facility with quality assured delivery, regular special offers, and a personal service all directed from our gallery in Benburb.
