Charity Auction - Thursday 13th March 08

The idea came about that it is high time that a couple of charity events should start happening…not only does it give charities a boost in the financial area, but it also gets peoples work out in the open for all to see and bid on!!

The requirements are simple….we need your gorgeous hand made products!
Whether it be paintings, photography, jewellery, pottery, handmade soap….etc, etcWhat we propose to do is display all the items collected as an exhibition in the Expose Yourself Gallery, Dunlaoire for a week…..6th – 13th March!

Some items will be selected for auction and others can be bought outright. (this gives public a chance to buy some items if they do not win the auction)

All items will be given a price by the donator and that will be a marking price for the piece.

It is also understood that the cost to the maker can be paid…
For example:
Someone donates a painting that they would like the cost of the frame/canvas to be paid for. They mark on the piece that they would like to receive 40 Euro to cover costs.

If the piece makes more than double the expenses price then the artist receives the cost of frame/canvas/raw materials.

If the painting makes less than the cost price the artist receives half the bidding price.
There will be a good starting price on all donations.
ALL donations are greatly received.
